The local fire department came through our neighborhood chauffeuring Santa around on the fire truck.Viv, was sitting on the potty when she heard the fire whistle so she ran to the door to see what was going on. One of the "elves" riding with Santa saw Viv, standing at the door and ran up the walk way to give her a candy cane. Viv, happily accepted the candy cane standing at the door... in her undies.
Viv, then proclaimed.... Yeah, Santa is here, let's open presents!
Viv, has watched me wrap presents for our friends & family all week and I have been telling her we can't open presents until Santa comes and drops her presents off. I guess she thought Santa was here, brought her a candy cane and it was time to start the festivities. If she was happy with a candy cane....she has no idea what is in store for her on Christmas morning!
