Reality TV

First let me start off by saying for those of you that don't already know, Brad and I are big TV junkies. It is what we do. Some couples golf, play tennis, garden. Nope, not us... we watch TV and enjoy every mindless minute of it.

The writers strike is really putting a damper on our entertainment so we have been forced to seek refuge in reality TV.

I am no longer embarrassed to admit.....we love American Idol. (Side note...The new season is about to begin and I will resume my weekly Idol Chat. I will add it to the blog instead of the group email.)

Love, Keeping Up With the Kardashian's on "E". We are fascinated by the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Dancing With the Stars.. It took me a few seasons to get into this one but, Viv and I watch it together. She puts on her "dance shoes" and dances her little heart out. It is too cute!

Scott Baio is 45 and Single on VH-1. Another good one.

Flip This/That House.. there are 2 shows very similar in name I like the one that takes place in Charleston, SC.

King of Cars on A&E... for obvious reasons!

Gene Simmon's Family Jewels - My favorite, and which leads me to my next new favorite show.
Celebrity Apprentice. Did you watch? Gene Simmons is on this season. I love him. I am not a KISS fan, can only name 3 KISS songs, but I just love him. He is so charismatic and I thoroughly enjoy him. (The new season of Family Jewels starts in March. Tivo it! You won't be disappointed! )

Brad and I have never watched The Apprentice before. (We have a friend (Craig) that tried out for the show. He made it to California, had 2 interviews and got to meet Trump & producer, Mark Burnett, but didn't make it. Bummer!) other than that we were not interested in the show. This season we will be glued to the TV. My early prediction is Gene will win.
