Readers Digest version of this past week.....

Tuesday was Brad's birthday. My parents got him American Idol for Wii. This game is the best! It is a karaoke game and you get judged by Paula, Simon & Randy at the end of your performance. We love the Idol and swear we are good singers so this was the perfect gift. We played it pretty much all night long. Viv, too. There are a few songs she knows. Well knows the chorus of at least and she belts them out at the top of her lungs. She is too funny.

Wednesday night- David Cook wins Idol. Yay, love him!

Thursday night was the long awaited debut of the new Indiana Jones movie. Brad was so excited and left work in time to get to the 10PM show. I don't really like "man movies" but figured after the week he had he needed a break so Rachel came to babysit and we went to see the movie. I won't ruin it for anyone.. but, I will say 20minutes into it I was crackberry-ing and checking my email.

Friday night was Mike's memorial service. The night started off really sad but ended with lots of funny Mike stories and a group dance to "It's Raining Men". It was his song.... and I felt it was a happy note to end the evening on. Everyone danced. Even Brad. I danced at first then kinda watched everyone else as almost immediatly the mood of the room changed. Tears were gone and everyone was smiling and laughing.
Funny how music heals...

Tomorrow - taking Viv on a picnic and to visit the ponies.... Stay tuned....

First off, Happy Birthday to Brad. Please invite us over sometime to play the idol because I to, have a fantastic voice (uh huh). Second, thank God for the crackeberry in a boring movie. I try to bring my ipod just in case. Third, Again, I am so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you were able to do a memorial service fitting for him. I think that would have made him happy, from what you said about him. Love you guys.
